Bittersweet.

This week has been quite the experience! Some good and some bad...but it was a fun week! It was our homecoming week! Between school, homework, soccer games, homecoming, and drama...I was quite worn out by the end of the week! We had hall decorating which is always fun to go and see what it will look like, but of course always some drama! One of my best friends was up for homecoming king...and he won! Let me tell you, you could hear where his fan club was sitting! :) So the excitment of that and the dance after the game it was just the kind of night I needed! We played very well and came out on top...we are undefeated! Woot Woot! I have just decided to let go of all the drama and just be, and spend time with positive people that are fun and enjoyable to be around! Yesterday was a hard day for the family as we made our way to Hillsboro for the closing of my Grandma's store. It has been around for 11 years and it was quite a bittersweet day! I didn't think I'd see this day for awhile but I am so excited for my grandma to sit on her porch and drink her one cup of coffee! It was a good day for her and it couldn't have gone any better but it was still sad. We also celebrated her birthday it was the 28th! So exciting! So after this week I am very worn out! But I am just chugging on through! I will make it! So many things to be thankful for, the love of my family, the great sunday school study we've been doing, and learning more!

Craziness.

This month has just been crazy! It has gone by so fast...which is good!
Mom and I made it home safely from Arizona...yay! after much delay! The day we were scheduled to get home was full of surprises! We got delayed quite a bit on the way home from Dallas. But, we made it at 12:30! We had a nice time out there...a lot of quality time with my favorite uncle! We went to our favorite shops, went to MIM...the Music Museum: it was very cool, and we just relaxed...which is what both of us wanted to do! We are celebrating a good check up...WOOT WOOT! So good results from that just made it so much better! Love going out a spending time out there!

These past couple weeks have consisted of english projects, football games, soccer games, drama, homecoming week and homecomings! Daddy made it home safely from his 14 day trip! We complain about him pestering us and annoying us but oh how we missed him while he was gone! The Mavs are doing great in football...and the soccer team is doing well! English projects are our favorite at this house! I just continue to keep my head down and I just do my own thing! I just continue to know that this is only a small part in my big journey of life! and what a journey it is right now! Quiet times, Jim Brickman, and relaxing is what is keeping me sane right now. Just celebrating good friends that are always there no matter what and a very supportive family! I am so blessed!

~Praise Moments~
How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.
